Church Planting

Church Planting

Like the apostle Paul we desire to “become all things to all people, so that by all possible means we might save some.”  (1 Corinthians 9:22).

We believe that one of the best and most effective methods of reaching more people with the Good News of Jesus Christ is planting new churches!  We believe in the motto “all kinds of churches for all kinds of people!”  A church doesn’t have to be a traditional structure with stained glass, steeple and pews — in fact, the Bible tells us that the Church is actually all people who have trusted in Jesus Christ for their salvation and have committed their lives to Him!  When you boil it down all you need to have a church is 1) A leader; 2) A place to meet; 3) two or three people, and 4) the Word of God!

SET FREE MINISTRIES:
We are super excited about our newest “church plant”, which is taking place right here in the heart of Ava! Our goal for this ministry is to create a safe place where our youth can come and hang out during the week. We will also have weekly worship services on Saturday nights. These services will be open to anyone, and will be geared toward freedom from addiction.
We have acquired a building and have begun putting teams together to help with demolition, remodeling, cleaning, fundraising, and planning. If you are interested in helping out in any way, please contact us!

HOUSTON NEW HORIZON:
Highway Church  had the privilege of partnering with this new work in the spring of 2015.  Ken and Jeretta Lawson started this work in their home in Houston, Missouri with a handful of people and God has helped it to grow in faith and in numbers.  We are excited about the potential for a great harvest of souls as we become one church, focused on one mission, in two locations.

COLD CREEK COWBOY CHURCH:

This church was born of a God given vision in October of 2011 and was officially launched on March 24, 2013. Through this non-traditional approach to church, many people are coming to know the abundant life that Jesus came and lived and died to provide for us!  This style of church reaches out to those who love the western heritage culture, and yet is open to anyone and everyone!
